Brief seminar on treeclimbing pruning techniques with practical demonstration.
Program:
I° hour
-pruning principles respectful of the plant’s phisiology
-introduction to treeclimbing
-rules and professional titles necessary for treeclimbing activity
II° hour
-treeclimber equipment
-climbing and movement demonstration on the plant in treeclimbing
-pruning demonstration on the plant in treeclimbing.

Treeclimbing for children with the help of the Ecologistica Srl experts who will place a new birdhouse, made by the Park’s Rangers, on the branches of one of the garden’s trees. Children will be able to climb up to the top to get a close up look of the new birdhouse.

- Reservations on the spot, limited availability (priority for kids participants to the morning workshop)

Hortus Urbis at the former paper mill “ Cartiera Latina”, via Appia Antica, 42 /50 (near the fountain)
Bike: Cristoforo Colombo bike route and Circonvallazione Ardeatina.
Bus: 118 and 218 on the Appia Antica (Domine Quo Vadis stop) or 30express, 714 and 715 (Cristoforo Colombo/Bavastro stop or Cristoforo Colombo/Circonvallazione Ostiense stop) and then short walk along the Circonvallazione Ardeatina in the Scott Park.
Car: parking at via Carlo Conti Rossini, Largo Gavaligi, via Omboni, via Scott and surroundings and then short walk along the Circonvallazione Ardeatina in the Scott Park.
